Any culture that seems to be unusual for you?

Can you give me a culture that seems to be unusual for you? Any brief description about it. Thanks.

Chinese culture is completely foreign to me.  However, I have a close Asian friend who helped ease my culture shock by introducing me to the foods, inviting me to holiday celebrations, and even teaching me simple things to say in her language.  In return, I helped her learn about my culture.  It was a great experience, and now I am more intrigued by other cultures rather than scared by them.

This might sound like a joke, but the American culture. I feel so soryy for all those people. All they do is eat and watch T.V.! And then there are those very smart Americans, I met a few briliant and rich people but they still can`t have an opinion or think with their own heads. I can`t imagine what it must be like not to make thinking progress and so on. To create, to literally live. Just going to work, learning, making what others tell you and hanging out does not mean anything. It`s a weird culture for me.

I live in Eastern Europe.
