  1. There are no cures for arthritis, however there are ways to manage it.  Besides medicines, there are many natural approaches that I would reccomend first.

Exercise, is one of the best conventional treatments for joint pain. The exercise plan should be well designed however, and generally involves prescribed exercises to keep the joints flexible, encourage nourishment of the cartilage, and strengthen the surrounding tissues; joint protection, often based on the suggestions of a physical or occupational therapist, to limit further damage; and, when necessary, both drug and non drug measures to ease discomfort and decrease stiffness.   Exercise is important because it is the movement of a joint that forces oxygen and nutrients into the cartilage and removes waste products, thus helping to keep the cartilage healthy. When the pain and stiffness sets in, however, moving the affected joint is the last thing on many peoples' minds.

To help relieve pain in a joint, reflexology may also prove helpful.  Reflexology is the application of pressure using thumb and fingers on reflex points in the feet and hands to stimulate a physiological change in the body. IT IS NOT A MASSAGE! If a body part is not functioning correctly, uric acid, calcium and mineral deposits may accumulate in the reflexes, impeding energy flow and circulation. A skilled, professional Reflexologist can assist in breaking down and dispersing these deposits, helping to restore the body to better health.

There are many other natural approaches that can help people with joint pain. These include:

    Diet

Food choices can help greatly. For example: diary products, citrus fruits along with meat category such as meat, pork and lamb, alcohol and vegetable oil when avoided helps to prevent joint pain caused by such foods that provide inflammation.

    Hydrate Yourself.

Water is extremely important to the joints. Because the synovial fluid contains water, if you become dehydrated less synovial fluid is available to protect the joints. Synovial Fluid is a fluid in the body that reduces friction between the articular cartilage in joints to lubricate and cushion them during movement. Failure to keep yourself hydrated will play havoc on your joints. Remember, by the time you are thirsty, your body is already dehydrated. Once dehydrated endurance is diminished, strength can drop, and the effect can last into the following day(s). Instead of relying on a thirst signal, drink water at regular intervals regardless if you're thirsty or not to help maintain your overall health, including your joint health!.

    Hydrotherapy (e.g., hot/cold water treatment, hot/cold compresses

Addditional measures to help ease the joint pain and stiffness include heat and cold treatments. Simple hot or cold water treatments are easy ways to soothe joint pain. To relieve stiffness and dull, penetrating pain, warm (not hot) compress applied directly to the affected area is the best option. For sharper, more intense pain, a cold compress or an ice pack wrapped in a plastic bag and placed over a towel on the skin for 10 to 20 minutes, and repeat every four hours as needed is a standard successful treatment plan. never apply a cold treatment for more than 20 minutes at a time, or you’ll risk damaging your skin.

Hot showers or baths or heating pads may also help by improving flexibility, especially before exercise or other physical activity.

    Non Prescriptive Medications

If these measures don't give adequate pain relief, your doctor may recommend medication. Most often, it will be acetaminophen or a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Some NSAIDs, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and naproxen sodium, are available over the counter.

These medications can be quite effective in relieving joint pain. As with many other drugs, however, they can have some uncomfortable and even dangerous side effects, especially if you must take them on an ongoing basis.

Aspirin and other NSAIDs, for example, may irritate the stomach lining and cause severe internal bleeding in some people. Taken in large amounts over the long term, they can also cause kidney and liver damage. Some research even suggests that these drugs may actually inhibit cartilage repair and increase the progression of the disease.

    Natural Supplements

There have been several studies showing potential benefits of dietary supplements for treating osteoarthritis. Potential treatment options may include:

Glucosamine sulfate. Glucosamine sulfate is one natural substance that has been shown useful for osteoarthritis pain relief.

Chondrotin. One of the most popular remedies you can use at home is chondrotin. Many scientists have made study of this natural product and found it to improve the way your bones are protected from impact. Many people begin to have problems with arthritis when the cartilage in their bodies wears away due to age. Taking a regular chondrotin supplement can help conduct more fluid into your cartilage, helping it to take the shock of simple impacts on a daily basis. You can find more information on chondrotin in many of the other articles on our website. You may also find a few places to purchase it if your local drug store does not carry it with their regular supplies.

MSM, methylsulfonylmethane. MSM provides sulfur, a vital building block of joints, cartilage, skin, hair and nails, and methyl groups, which support many vital biochemical processes in the body, including energy production. MSM is a naturally-occurring nutrient found in small amounts of many foods. As a dietary supplement, MSM is synthesized. When made correctly, it is identical to that found in nature. MSM can be taken alone or in combination with other joint health supplements, such as glucosamine and chondroitin.Published, peer-reviewed clinical research in the U.S. has shown MSM is safe and effective in increasing joint comfort and supporting a normal range of motion.

Vitamins B9 (folate) and B12 (cobalamin). Both taken in large doses significantly reduced osteoarthritis hand pain, presumably by reducing systemic inflammation. B vitamins also balance the nervous system, reducing pain.

Vitamin D. Vitamin D deficiency has been reported in patients with osteoarthritis, and supplementation with Vitamin D3 is recommended for pain relief.

Vitamin C. Vitamin C is an anti oxidant that also helps promote healing, calcium builds stronger bones and the B vitamins balance the nervous system, reducing pain.

    Calcium. Calcium builds stronger bones.

    Other Natural Approaches

    * Electrical stimulation

    * Acupuncture

    * Acupressure, etc.

If you want to know more about the subject,  I have written a number of articles regarding natural healing, disease prevention, cancer management, nutrition, and joint pain at www.musclemagfitness.com.  The site is free, no ads, no selling of products. It is a great resource i use as well.  Access to the articles, as well as several tools and other resources is free.

I hope my information proves helpful for you.

    God Bless

  2. im not sure about a cure. but my mom has a real bad case of it and her doctor just gives her a whole bunch of hydrocodones to ease the pain.

  3. I don't know about an emphatic cure but i know a few things that will help alleviate the symptoms of arthritis enormously.

Try increasing your consumption of fatty fish, such as cod, salmon and halibut on a daily basis.......... they are a great source of omega - 3 fatty acids which have antiflammatory properties. I'd also suggest you eliminate the nightshades, such as potatoes, tomatoes and eggplant from your diet as they may aggravate arthritis.

Take a B complex supplement on a daily basis ~ B5, part of that complex, has been found to be effective in reducing the pain of arthritis in some cases ........... buy perhaps a liquid B complex supplement as it will be easier for your body to assimilate ........ get one with all the B's in it ie ~ B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12 and folic acid etc.... as they work best as a group.... don't buy any of the B complex of vitamins individually but rather as a whole group unless specifically instructed to do so by a nutritionally oriented physician or naturopath.

The B complex of vitamins is essential for healthy neural, digestive and immune system functioning and will bolster your system enormously in dealing with the everyday stresses of life.

Take 2 fish oils capsules twice daily.

Take extra vitamin C in a powdered form as well ~ you can get it with bioflavonoids contained therein ~ the bioflavonoids inrease the power of vitamin C 10 fold....... if you're taking lots of aspirin you're losing vitamin C.

    good health & peace 2 u

  4. massage therapy relieves arthritis pain....

  5. It depends- because there are so many types of the disease.

MSM or gluco caps are said to help- all kinds of "helps" but likely not true cures.

    Emu oil rubbed on helps.

  6. There is many ways to "heal" the pain of arthritis without pain pills.  Do you want relief from pain on a daily basis or do you want to have a more lasting and natural effect for more then a few days?  Ginger root and Replenex are just 2 of the much more natural choices out there.  Yup, natural remedies work better... REALLY they do!   Forgo the pain pills as these do nothing but mask the problem and make things much worse in the long run.  My mom, in her 80's, has switched from the pain pills to the natural remedies.  Oh, and if your vitamins are lacking you will need to get those going in the right direction too.  I am not talking about those one a day type "vitamins" either... those are a waste of money... try Alive Whole Food Energizer.  I LOVE IT.. I have energy all day and I am over 50!  When I switched to those vitamins I noticed that I was feeling better and stronger in short order.... just under a month!

  7. Unfortunately there are no cures for arthritis, but there are many herbal and dietary treatments that will relieve, or depending on the severity, eliminate the symptoms.

    Dietary Recommendations

Dairy, Tomato, Potato, Eggplant, Peppers, (and any other nightshade veggies) Corn, Eggs, Caffeine, Wheat, Red Meat, Citrus, and Nuts may all be food triggers.  Triggers vary depending on the person.  I recommend starting with dairy, continuing down the list, taking each out of your diet one at a time for 10 days. See what foods ease symptoms, or cause flare ups after being eaten.  Pay close attention to how your body reacts to the foods you eat.  It may be help full to keep a food journal for a few weeks.  Record everything you eat or drink and how you feel a few hours later.

    Recommended Nutrients

Glucosamine Sulfate- 500mg 3 times a day.   Repairs  joint cartilage in early stages.

Choridroitin Sulfate- 400mg 2 or 3 times a day.  Reduces pain, increases mobility and healing of joints.  It is a major component of the lining of the joints.

Niacin- 250 mg four times a day.  Improves joint mobility, muscle strength and reduces fatigue

    Copper-1mg, has anti inflammatory properties.

Vitamin B6, Vitamin E, Flaxseed Oil, and omega 3's are also important to repair cartilage damage in Early Stages.

Iron contributes to pain, inflammation and joint destruction.  Do not take this is supplement form.  Instead get it threw whole foods.  Black strap molasses, Broccoli, cauliflower, fish and lima beans are all good sources.

    Herbal Recommendations

I have found that blood purifiers have been quite effective in relieving symptoms of arthritis.  Try

    Oregon Grape Root- 6Parts

    Parsley Root- 6Parts

    Sassafras- 3 Parts

    Prickly Ash Bark- 3 Parts

    Black Cohosh- 3 Parts

    Ginger Root- 2 Parts

Simmer one ounce of herbs in 1 pint of water for thirty minutes.  Take 1/2 cup of hot tea every two hours.

    For External Relief

    Boil 2 Parts Ginger Root

    1 Part Cayenne

1/2 Part Lobelia in  a covered pot for 20 minutes.  Remove from heat.  Dip an absorbent towel or cloth into the tea and apply to the painful area as hot as can be tolerated without burning.   Cover with a dry flannel cloth and heating pad or hot water bottle.  Plastic covering may be used to protect clothing or bedding.  This will stimulate circulation to reduce inflammation.

(all herbs can be purchased at a local heath food store)

**Be sure to consult with your doctor before starting any herbal treatments, or dietary supplements as some medications will conflict with these.

  8. There is not exactly a cure for this but there is an all natural fruit juice called monavie. Its main ingredient is the acai berry. I know my aunt has very bad arthritis and was taking medicine to help with the pain. She was told to try drinking this juice and in less than a week she said she felt better than she did taking any kind of pill. It took away the pain and gave her more energy.

I hope this helped. Feel free to ask any questions.

  9. MicroLactin, a good supplement to take, it is more effective than Glucosamine.

Also Rife Technology, has been shown to be effective, i believ there was a clinical trial for arthits, look on Rife Yahoo group, and Rifeforum.com for more information. GB4000 and the PERL are good rife machines.

Gerson Therapy has also been shown effective with arthitis.

Read Dr. Hulda Clark's book, 'Cure for all diseases'

    Hope this helps.

  10. if you want a cure, you going have to give up some stuff that like to eat. but if you can do go to this website www.drsebi.com and give them a call they will cure you.

  11. Check your allergies? some food and drinks that we consume can cause the food and drinks to attack the blood cells and when the food or drinks takes a bite from the cell, and when the cell duplicates it's self usually in 90 days it duplicates a damaged cell.

The food is usually some thing we like to eat.

    but you must

  12. if you'r referring to gouty arthritis, and your blood uric acid rincreased, then an oral allopurinol 300mg tablet will do for a month. an alternative is  japanese oil which is rich in snake's oil, ginger, ginseng, eucalyptus and other essential oils which helps relieve pain.
