Any decent jobs for 17 year olds?

Question

I have some work experience working at camp but it doesnt really help as experience for a non-summer job. Are there any jobs i could get where i would only have to work fri-sat-sun?

preferably in the metro-detroit area?

my first job, that i started on my 16th birthday and i still work at, is a movie theatre.

its really easy and fun alot of the time.

you get free movie tickets.

they're mostly busy on friday, saturday, and sunday so that would be perfect for you!

seriously, its a great first job!

First what are your interest?

Do you want to work for yourself or for someone else?

If you like working with children there are several options: babysitting, Mom's Helper, working in a home based or 24 hour daycare, Gyms that have childcare centers like 24 hour fitness or Ballys, look on Craig's list under Education sometimes they have jobs for tutors. For some of these although your age may be an issue you should be able to get a work permit from either the social security office or unemployment office (not sure which one).
