  1. Layton-Leytin, LaytIn.

to me Leighton would be pronounced Lee-ton

  2. why confuse the kid? dont get pissed when you go to the DR. and they butcher it...

  3. thats a pretty name.

I like the way it is spelled there!!!!!

  4. Layton

    Laityn

Laitin (This looks like Latin, so I wouldn't choose this)

    Laiton

    Leityn

    Leiton

    Leitin

    Leighton looks like (lee-ton)

  5. Layton

    Laeton

    Laytin

    Laetin

    Laytyn

    Laetyn

  6. I can understand the Lay-ton pronunciation, but I also see the Leigh and my first impression is Lee. And I think Layton looks dumb. Keep it Leighton and just tell everyone how to spell or pronounce it.

  7. Leightynne.

    Layetynne.

    Layeton.

    Laeton.

  8. I disagree with some of the others; I think Leighton would clearly be pronounced lay-ton, and I prefer this spelling. Others could be Leiden (I know it's a d instead of t, but when you say it it sounds the same. This may be pronounced lie-don though.) or Leyden.

  9. I would pronounce Leighton as lee-ton.

If it's not obvious how it's pronounced, don't call your kid that. He'll have to constantly correct people for the rest of his life!

And, besides, it sounds like a Dorset village, not a person.

  10. I love that name! I would just spell it Leighton. You could do Layton but that kind of looks like a boys name

  11. Layton, Laighton, Leyton
