This just started this morning, but I've noticed that I have really had to pee a lot lately. The thing is, when the urine comes out of my.....peep, it really stings. Then afterwards, there is random stinging for about 10 to 15 minutes. Are these symptoms of some sort of serious disease? Oh, and the reason I'm asking on here first is because I don't want to have to go to the doctors office if I don't need to waste my parents money. (I'm only 15) Somebody please help.

  1. you have to go to the doctor, don't make thing became more seriou, go tell your parent!

  2. you are describing the classic symptoms of a urinary tract infection (UTI), there are some over the counter products available from a pharmacy which claim to reduce the symptons of UTI.  if that doesn't work you can be easily cured with a course of anti-biotics, but that does mean a visit to the doctor.

  3. Urinary Tract Infection

  4. I'm not a doctor but it sounds to me like it might be a urinary tract infection. When you go to pee a lot, does pee actually come out or does it just really feel like you have to pee a lot? If you aren't actually peeing a lot, but feel as if you have to, that sounds like urinary tract infection. Drink as much liquid as you can, as you want to flush out the bacteria. Cranberry juice is specifically recommended. Usually you can cure it yourself by drinking massive amounts of water, but if you find your lower back hurting or more pain you should go to the doctor to get antibiotics.

    Hope I helped!

  5. Sounds like you might have a case of clap or Gonarea and this is a sexually transmitted disease so go find your partner and get down to your doctors office and get a shot of penicillin before you start ripping pipes out of walls.

  6. squirrel-  You are very considerate not to want to waste your parents' money, BUT what you describe in a bladder bacterial infection (a UTI = Urinary Tract Infection).  You need to go your doctor or have a parent talk to one on the phone and tell them that you are having to urinate (pee) frequently and have burning when you do.  If you go to the doctor's office the Dr will have you pee a few drops of urine in a cup and then immediately use a Urine Dipstick to test within 2 minutes for bacteria and pus cells of an infection.  95% of all UTIs are caused by one bacteria called E. coli.  If you test positive the Dr will immediately write out a prescription for an antibiotic for a a couple of days to treat and cure your infection.  Some Drs will even call in a prescription to your local pharmacy so you can pick up the medicine without even seeing the Dr.  If the UTI is not treated, even though the burning may disappear, the infection can spread from the bladder to the kidneys and do serious damage.  Please do not delay in getting treatment and cure.
