How does this translate into ANNEXING anything.

You are just buying into the anti-Russia hysteria that the Bush administration is trying to spread because Putin hurt his feelings by not acting like his lap dog.

As far as wars go...the Georgian one seems like the most civilized one in a long time.

He wont nuke Poland and if he did I would rather have Obama in power.  He doesn't even have the power to request it.

why would you want someone who says "oh yeah!?!?!  We'll nuke YOU!!"  Without ever stopping to realize that we too are susceptible to nukes here at home......

Give me the deliberate pragmatist any day in a tough, high stakes situation.  The knee-jerk reactionary will get you in a bind 10 times out of 10.

When Russia starts acting like Soviet Russia or Hitler's Germany I will lend some creedence to your claim.....until then, they aren't do anything that our own nation did with regards to Texas becoming a state.
