  2. we used to do a drill in football and basketball when we would sprint to a marker and run back to the start then sprint to a farther marker and run back to the start again. this would help us build speed in short bursts plus allow us to practice abrupt changing of direction as well. I bet those two things would help with rugby too.

  3. If you're playing for a team you should really get these medical or improving fitness advice from them. If not some stretching, running etc should be ok as a lite work out.
