I loved it. I am still voting for Obama/Biden ticket, but man she really made me wish that somehow (if it could have been possible) Obama had her as a Vice President. I have strong conservative views but I just don't like how McCain is not standing up more for the middle class families. But anyway, her speech was amazing..any agree?

  1. It was wonderful! I thought as it started off that she might bomb, but she came roaring back. I expect to see a major bounce in the newest polls showing McCain/Palin surging ahead of the lackluster Dem ticket.

A son going to Iraq on 9/11, a husband who's a member of the United Steelworkers? Tell the Dems they can forget about Ohio and Michigan being in their column. Great job, Sarah. You remind me of the tough sheriff from the movie, "Fargo".

  2. i'm not sure we watched the same spech.

the one i watched was filled with childish attacks and lame jokes.

well, if that's your definition of "brilliant"...

  3. Bad , bad, very very bad.

  4. Congratulations!!! The first intellectually honest Dem out here!!

    (Not being sarcastic)

  5. She reminds conservative men of the guts they wish they had.Brilliant.

Binden will be a better vice president.Hands down.

  6. Yes

  7. No, bashing her opponent is little substance and typical. All the things she claims we need in a leader are not McCain, integrity being the first

  8. I disagree.

While she did speak well, she focused more on attacking Barack Obama than anything else.  I was put off by her sarcasm and mocking attitude, mainly because I don't think there is much room for her to criticize (given her own relative inexperience).  I don't really feel that I got to know her or her policies any better (oil platform - not surprising from an Alaskan gov.) than I did going into to it, except her immense dislike of Barack Obama (a given).

That said, she spoke well, the crowd ate it up...i'm just not a fan.

  9. yeah, it was great.

  10. I really liked it. If you think Obama is standing up for middle class families, you better dig a little deeper and get the whole picture. It is the usual quick fix - lets throw you a bone here and there and that way you adore me and trust me. But you know they don't REALLY want you to be successful in the long run.  They put the money in one pocket, then pick your pockets when you are not looking.

  11. Ok, I'm a Palin supporter and have been one for longer then most people have even known who she was.  I was not impressed with her speech.  I did like her comment about Obama, but other then that I was not.  She should have left her family out of it.  Who really cares if Todd is a snow machine champion.  What the h**l is a snow machine.  Who cares if they met in high school.  What do these tings have to do with national politics.  I support Sarah, but I was not impressed with her speech.

  12. She was amazing.

  13. No. And it wasn't her speech. A man wrote it. She just read it and flashed some leg.

  14. I wouldn't say brilliant.  She did her job.  She read a speech that someone else wrote and didn't flub it up.  At least Obama is capable of writing his own speech.

  15. She was absolutely amazing. I saw some older guy in the audience wearing a pin that said "Hoosiers for the Hot Chick" and I want that pin so bad!!

    She rocked it.

  16. You vote for you you think is best and i appreciate you saying a lovely thing about Palin. God love you>!

  17. although  i disagree with your choice for president, i think we can all agree that there were some good speeches.
