Any evertaining places for an 11 year old boy?

My nephew will be coming to visit me for a week on August 16 until August 23. Is there any fun things to do for kids around his age? I wanted to take him to look at the bats but would like have some other ideas.. Thanks

Movies, pizza places. Talk to him and ask him what he likes to do!

A day trip to Schlitterbahn is always fun, there's also a 6 flags and seaworld in san antonio.  Movie and food at the Alamo Drafthouse (also check out their road show calendar, cause they sponsor all sorts of stuff like movies in the park), mini golf at Peter Pan mini-golf (might be too hot for that during the day though, and night time is usually a lot of drinkers, since it's byob), Natural Bridge cavern down in San Marcos (i think?), or the caverns up north in Georgetown, Barton Springs pool (o'course), canoeing on town lake, if he's into music there's lots of places that have all ages shows (emo's, the mohawk, and red 7 for punk), tons of fun restaurants like Chuy's, shady grove, etc.  

But I agree with the other people, you should ask him what kind of stuff he likes to do as well.

i've always loved skating rinks, but if your looking for doing

something with both of you than i'd say go somewhere with games,

go carts, and bumper boats, like... celebration station or mountazia!

Bowling, mini golf, maybe a movie. Try asking what he likes to do and offer suggestions. Good Luck
