Are there any evidence that the Atlantic Ocean Current that is keeping our Atlantic coast "warm" is being affected by the global warming (whether it's man made or natural)?

If so, can the global warming parodoxically bring on an another "mini-ice" like we had 10,000 years ago that probably killed of most of the big mammals such as tha mammoth?

  1. Good question. The answer is that it might, but as of now we are not completely sure.

  2. They "claim" they have evidence in other places, I'm not sure about the Atlantic.  Personally, I think it's a bunch of baloney.  When I was in high school, they were afraid we were headed for another ice age.  They have the proof that the earth goes through cycles like this.  I think it's another cycle.  All this other stuff...especially the hybrid cars and green this and green that is just another way to make money off of us.  During the 60's and 70's, we were  (those of us that lived in the country) making alcohol fuel from corn and doing a bunch of stuff they talk about today.  Non of it's new.  But it's another cycle we went through, like a fashion cycle.  I do believe we need to stop cutting down trees in the rain forest.  But I don't believe the rest.

  3. Yes the IPPC's latest models seem to indicate a weakening. But...always a (but), past indicators of the LGM (last Glacial Maximum) says it doesn't work that way. "I do wish they would make up their minds."

  4. i read that nasa recently (sometime in the last few months) that nasa discovered that the oceans current has changed direction. I'll see if i can find the link.
