    I read a few credit union websites on this leasing program and they seem to leave out a bunch of details.  I would call your credit union and ask more questions.  right now it seems almost too good to be true to have no upfront costs, no turn in fee, low monthly payments, etc.

  3. This is a loan that works something like a lease, except with higher payments. The final "balloon" payment is huge. You either have to get another loan to make the payment (or pay with cash), or return the car. It's easier to end this kind of loan than with a lease because the payments are higher and you are not upside down as long. Also, you would make a down payment, where a lease doesn't require a down payment.

  4. It is simply a "balloon program", like a GM SmartBuy. It is a purchase that is structured like a lease, in that you own nothing unless you make the final balloon payment.
