  1. I was on Cipramil for about 3 months and it worked very well for bipolar, anxiety and schizoaffective disorder but then it stopped working so i went onto another AD.

3 years later I was back on Cipramil because my moods were very low on the other medication, and this time I stayed on Cipramil for nearly a year and it was great.

i've now stopped the Cipramil for my own reasons.

You don't mention how long you have been on it already so it's hard to say whether there is a light at the end of the tunnel for you. I find it amazing you were prescribed Cipramil for just anxiety - there are better medications out there for that.

It sounds like Cipramil doesn't suit you, and may be counter-affective, so don't be afraid to tell your doctor that you'd like to try something else.

  2. i was prescribed that a couple of years ago after having a baby.suffered from post natel depression.personally i didnt find it any good and stopped taking it.if its not doing any thing for you but just giving you side effects would you not ask for something else instead.there might be something else that might agree with you better
