The current favorites are War Pass and Pyro. War Pass is currently 7/2 and Pyro is 6/1. I love both of these horses. Any of them could have a chance to win the Derby. Some of the other ones I have to consider are Georgie Boy and Denis of Cork. Georgie Boy hasn't stretched out in his distance yet, but they have decided to run him in 1 mile San Felipe Stakes (G2) on March 15. Dennis of Cork ran a beautiful race in the Southwest Stakes, and is supposedly running in the Rebel Stakes (G2)on March 15. Hope I have helped you!

Pyro and War Pass will likely be the morning line and race time favorites unless they don't do well in their preps and someone else is consistently spectacular.  As for a personal favorite, I like Majestic Warrior... I'm also a fan of J Be K but I don't think he was the experience to win the Derby.

War Pass should be one of the favorites going into the Derby. A lot will depend on the prep races in the next 2 months.

To kycat: Curlin is not eligible because he is a 4 year old.

I would do a google search on Curlin.  I am not sure this horse is eligible, but he would have a good chance.  I live in Louisville near Churchill Downs.  I would also look at any horses Robby Albarado is riding--this is his home turf and I think he currently leads in the standings-he is an excellent jockey.
