  2. the answers of spotter & nelmarie are fine so far. I just want to advice you if you are a young lady ( 18 - 40 ) without job in the Philippines or children ( that might make you come back ) don't even bother to waste your money for a tourist visa because it will be denied. Also you should proof the embassy staff that you have seen already before with photos.  - why it is like that ? Simple the European Governments want to protect you guys by not issuing you visas to be victims of prostitution. - Out of experience you only get a tourist visa if it is an organized trip to Europe (travel agency) or if you want to visit a first grade relative ( sister, brother, daddy, mummy). Sorry for no better news.

  3. for me , its always easy whenever i applied.and never denied .im always visiting family members .   but in your case , im cant assure you if it will be the same . a lot of applicants i met in the embassy applying for tourist visa for the purpose of visiting their boyfriends were denied .. Ruwii has a point .. it is for your own protection.

All schengen state has the same visa rules, since they issue the same schengen visa. Good luck !

  4. you can visit the website of Dutch Embassy in the Philippines for more information. It depends on ur purpose of visit to Netherlands, they will require you documentary evidence to support your stay in Netherlands.
