I have been screened online vis tests etc and undergone tqo telephone interviews for Delta - for a position as a flight attendant

I am being flown to Atlanta next week for a face to face.

Anyone who is a flight attendant: can you give me an idea of what to expect on the day and what kind of questions may be asked.

I understand there are group interviews and activities that are observed by recruiters etc

Any info? Tips? Advice? inside info?

Is it true you have to smile constantly?? I don't want to come over as fake ... but I am practising a 24/7 smile as I type this

thanks in advance!

  1. I'm not a Flight Attendant but work with them. I get to close the door after we push back from the gate. I will say though and you can take it or leave it, from what I see in the Flight Attendant ranks is that most are genuine people. Be your self at the interview. If you smile 24/7, then do it. The interviewers have seen enough people to know who is acting and who is not. You passed the requirements well enough that they want to take a look at you. They will see how you interact with others and ask some questions to see how you answer. Just be yourself and good luck.

  2. Smile but dont look fake. My mom is a flight attendant for Continental Airlines. She's been flying for 18 years. Tell them why you are interested. Show them your great personality. Act excited and determined. Good luck!
