i want to know what are some of the best and free pack sniffers? also where i can i download it ?

  1. If you are using Linux, I also recommend Wireshark.  If you are using Windows XP Pro or Vista I recommend Microsoft Network Monitor 3.1

    Both are free.


  2. look up Wireshark...it's pretty good


  3. Winpcap , i think made by the same people as wireshark but this is open source and has a great community of people working with it the download is here
