  1. Which curriculum is he using, and what level?  Each curriculum presents things a bit differently, and if we know what he's working on/what approach he's taking we can be of more help :)


  2. This free resource - www.hippocampus.org wil be helpful.  You can look stuff up by page of your textbook (many different texts listed) or by topic.  It will present a video lesson and exercises to demonstrate the topic.

  6. hello , i browsed by a site which has complete free courseware for , homeschoolers , its called ww.hippocampus.com , not only algebra , biology , physics etc are also present .various text books can also be downloaded and most of the lessons are in an online interactive way , hope this site helps you .

  8. I get lots of help from the textbook website. We use a used public school textbook without the teacher's book... it was not in the trashcan where we found the math book. (smile)

    There is a tutor for many chapters as well as online excercises to go along with the book.

  10. Well, you could retake it a lesson or two ahead of your son, but if you don't want to do that, I highly recommend Teaching Textbooks with the CDs.

    Actually I recommend Teaching Textbooks even if you ARE going to retake it.  The explanations are very clear and easy to understand.

    It's not free, but its worth the money.
