  1. I would agree with Googling.

    If we're doing a lesson on, say, Christopher Columbus, I would Google things like:

    free lesson plan columbus

    free worksheet christopher columbus

    free unit study christopher columbus

    You can find lots of free lesson plans, units, worksheets, research, etc., that are wonderful resources and supplements, but I don't know about a free website that will take the place of a teacher and give you work or guide your studies-- you would have to join an online school or umbrella school for that, and they're usually not free.

    I think if you live in the state of FL you can do virtual schooling for free, but if you don't live in the state I think you have to pay. I'm not sure, I don't use it.


  2. Depends on what you want/need.  You can pretty much google anything and get the stuff for free...

    IE:  you need a worksheet on algebra

    GOOGLE:  algebra, worksheet, homeschool

  3. just type in free right before the subject.  i do it all the time.
