Any free programs to change my ip adress on a mac and/ or mac adress?

I'm trying to be less traceable through wifi and other networks(not hacking). Where can I find a free program to change my ip address on a mac and/ or mac address?

I'm sorry, but you can't change it. And if you did, it might be illegal. Also, you might mess everything up. Every house is assigned an IP address. The only way you can change it is by moving.

It's not free but this is what I use. I can be anywhere in the world and to the outside world it looks like I'm coming out of several different places in the USA. Plus, my stuff goes out encrypted and can't be hijacked by anyone else on the WiFi.

A free alternative to the previously mentioned surfbouncer is Tor

It routes all your data through random peers across the world in an encrypted format so that it is largely impossible to evesdrop on what you are browsing or any other form of internet communication.

Tor provides a good platform for the mac and a nice plugin for firefox to ensure that it doesn't leak any data.
