  1. my mother taught me how to type by telling me to learn the alphabet on the keyboard

  2. try this website:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/typing/

it's great for kids and it's very entertaining

  3. Hands down, the best website is www.alfatyping.com

this website will have you typing in no time. Before I started the website i was typing 15 wpm, now I t ype 55 wpm and I've been doing the program for about a month now.

  4. Do a search for the game "Typer Shark."  It doesn't teach hand placement, but it will help students practice the skills when they are taught.  It will definitely increase speed.

  5. http://www.learn2type.com/

it's free and easy, thank u for reading my message.

  6. get the game "type to learn" it great or "mavis beacken"

  7. When I was 8 my parents got a program to teach me to type.  I tried it, and even stuck with it for a while, but that's not how I learned. Eventually I started writing emails to my grandparents, and I needed to type. At first it was hunt and peck, but practice makes perfect.

Make your kids do homework on the computer.

  8. well they is this game call the typing master it helps you to put your finger in the right keys and work your way to finding the rest keys without looking at the keyboard.

  9. typing tutor

  10. There are lots! Examples:

    kids.learn2type.com

    www.powertyping.com

    www.learntotype.org

    akidsheart.com

    wwww.softpile.com

  11. They provide learning DVD for typing. Another one is called Microsoft word. On your computer you can find it. You can get books about typing. As well as that one site about learn2type. If you don't have time on the Internet than I suggest practice on the keyboards while the computer is off. All you would do is look at any words around the computer and pretend you're typing. All these resources will give you basic steps on how to place your fingers correctly on your computer or an actual typewriter. The other parts to learn would be learning what the keyboard buttons stand for on your computer.
