You could do a sleepover theme where everyone wears PJ's, a Rodeo theme where everyone wears cowboy hats and stuff, and order out BBQ for the lunch.

Will there be "baby boomers" there?  If so, you could do a "Surfin Safari" theme ....  or "Beach Party Bingo"  .....  otherwise, how about Jamaican?  with reggae?

You could do a mad hatters theme. Have tea and everyone has to come in a crazy hat.

we have a Carnival every year, we call it our Spring Fling. We have it outside in the parking lot

each dept. makes their own version of a carnival game

like: ring toss, mini golf, boat races, etc.

we serve carnival foods (we rent a huge grill, popcorn machine, snocone machine, cottan candy machine) and we get hotdogs, sausages, burgers, all kinds of salads and cola drinks & waters

one year we did a Casino party

and each dept. made their own casino table

they even had a stand up comic

prizes are always given away, too, for all kinds of things.

I like the casino theme or the decade theme. Decade parties can be a ton of fun.
