  1. I am 13 and have been on 3 cruises and am probably going on another one this summer. Well, on our 2nd cruise, I caught the Norwalk virus, so my mom and brother went out to port, and my dad and I had to stay on the ship. It was not fun. The night before, I started throwing up, and then when I was throwing I kept having diareah in my pants...yah pretty grose, so when I felt like I had to throw up, I sat on the toilet, and then pueked in a trash can.....it was terrible....luckily we didn't report it or else I would've had to be quarantined for 24 hours, and I have a really strong immune system and usually i am better in about 12 hours, which I was.

  2. The couple in the cabin next to us had a loud arguement in the middle of the night. We called security, as did the people on the other side. Things quieted down.

The next day, when we got back onboard after a shore excursion, we found the husband's (boyfriend's) stuff strewn outside the cabin all over the floor. Apparently, she threw him out! I'm not sure whatever happened after that.

  3. Well, here are some funny questions asked by cruise ship passengers ...

    1)  Does the crew sleep on board?

    2)  Is the island surrounded by water?

    3)  Does the ship generate is own electricity?

    4)  Does the ship have cable TV?

    5)  What time is the midnight buffet?

    6)  What do they do with the ice sculptures after they melt?

    7)  How many fjords to the dollar?

    8)  What time is the two o'clock tour?

    9)  Where is the bus for the walking tour?

    10) How do we know which photos are ours?

    11)  Who is driving the ship while the captain is sleeping?

    12)  I'm married, but can I still go to the singles party?

    13)  Do we put our luggage outside before or after we go to sleep?

  4. I've never been on one, and I''m unsure if I will this summer, but my relative once went in one. She told me that some person tried to go on the diving board at the pool. He jumped three times on it. At the third time he jumped, he became scared and made a pathetic jump and hung on to the board upside down! Then, one person didn't know where he was going, so while he walked, he accidentally bumped on the board and the hanging guy ended up in the pool with a backflop!

  5. I didn't see that kid

  6. Well, at the time I did not think it was funny, but I can laugh about it now. We took an excursion to ride one and two person speed boats in mexico. My husband and son road in one boat and I road alone in another. We were towards the end of the line of about 15-20 boats. I stepped on the gas slightly and my boat took off. I tried to slow it down, but I just flew by everyone. They were all laughing and waving, thinking I was trying to show off, but after I passed the front person, and I still couldn't get the boat to slow down, I didn't know what to do, so I started driving around in circles. The two guides were yelling for me to slow down, and I was yelling back that my brakes would not work and I couldn't. So here everyone stopped their motors and were just sitting in their boats while I was circling around them scared out of my mind wondering how I was going to get the boat to stop. One of the guides tried to tell me to hit the kill switch at the back of the boat, but when I wasn't going in circles, the boat went really fast, so I was too scared to get far away from everyone and not be able to pull the switch or fall off the boat. Finally, one of the guides  drove up to my boat and jumped from his to mine. Then he pulled to kill switch. It was like a James Bond movie. I was scared then, but it must have been cool to watch.

  7. ..only if you think fear, loathing, beer, food poisoning, mutiny and going home not in a cruise ship early are funny...actually seeing people jump overboard is pretty funny. just makes rescuing them more difficult....

  8. On one of our cruises we had a 4am wake-up call from the captain. Everyone was woke up. it seems a 17 year old was missing and it was the captains responsibility to find her. Well, she decided to sleep in someones Else's cabin(didn't tell mom), so she got into big trouble with everyone. The next day, none of the adults would even talk to her and she was grounded by the captain. No one was to happy about getting a 4am wake-up call because of her.
