Any ghost in the shell fans?

I love the Major, she's amazing - but Batou is probably my favourite coz he's so funny :)

who;s your favourite character and why? and does ayone know if there's gonna be a new series or movies?

Yes ! I am very fond of this anime series in all it's manifestations be it film , series , prose novels or manga . There is a unscheduled remake of Ghost in the Shell by Dreamworks/Spielberg/Oshii if I am not mistaken .

Motoko Kusanagi is my favorite character ever for she is highly intelligent and a superb tactical commander with warrior skills that are without equal .(My girlfriend says I look , and behave , like Bateau . She also says Yosemite Sam - lol ! )

My faves are Saito (because I seem to always like snipers) and Ichikawa (because his personality is so much like mine). I also started liking the Motoko more in 2nd Gig, because she learned to wear proper clothing! :-P

Aside from the perviously mentioned movie, there has been no announcements on new GitS work. Though at a press junket for Solid State Society, the creators said they did not invision that film being the end of the GitS: SAC universe.
