  1. 1.A beautiful crystal she can hang in her bedroom window - it looks pretty and creates beautiful rainbows all round the room when the light catches it.

2.If she stays away from home at all, her very own little pull along case with towel, washbag and various little bits and pieces in it.

3.If she likes gardening - her own seeds and or tools, or a fruit bush/cane - like raspberry if she likes them, then she can plant it, care for it and eat the lovely fruit when they are ripe.

4.Adopt a pet from a rescue shelter (if parents ok it) or sponsor one if they cant keep one of their own.

    5. A special day out, doing what she likes with her lovely Auntie.

  2. heres a bunch of cute ideas under 20 bucks......lol every penny counts i guess maybe with the money you save you can buy her a card and slip the rest inside my girls always liked purses and wallets that had random change and dollars good luck    http://www.target.com/b/ref=sc_iw_r_12_1...

  3. barbie dolls of course, or a easy bake oven.

  4. Little girls are so easy to shop for at this age.  You can get most anything princesses, Hannah Montana, High School Musical, Cheetah Girls.

Disney sells a great MP3 player for kids called a mixstix.  If she has a Nintendo DS.  The new fashion game is cute, as well as the Dogz series.

There is always Webkinz which the kids love.  Or you can go to build a bear, buy her the bear and they will leave it unstuffed for her to stuff.  You could take her and let her pick out the outfit and stuff it with her.

Dress up clothes are always still great at this age.  Or maybe a jewlery box, my dauighter has a great princess one that is a CD player also.  Good luck

  5. Littlest Pet Shop Get Better Center - Target.

    $22.89

This is the big rave with kids now.  You can collect them.  Very cute and fun to play with.

  6. She's probably ready for a small two wheeler!!  It will come with training wheels if she needs them!  You'll have to also get her a helmet!  And they really aren't too expensive...there are a lot of really cute ones too!   Just put a huge bow on it!

  7. GET HER A DOLLY

  8. $ or  maby a bike

  9. I always get kids that age pajamas...

  10. If she is a girly girl...nail polish, lip gloss, other goodies put inside a cute stylin' purse!!  She will love it!!! You will be the hit (as long as Mommy allows polish & gloss at this age!!)  :)) HAVE FUN!!

  11. A lovely story book with nice pictures doen't exactly have to cost that much. Or maybe a pretty doll its the thought that counts.

  12. What is she interested in?

  13. Crayola makes REALLY neat stuff for kids.  They make this huge book that's for kids to lay on the floor on their stomachs and draw/color huge pictures.

They make neat markers that only mark on the paper, not on anything else.

I'd check out the Crayola section of your favorite place to shop - can't go wrong with that type of stuff.  Washable markers, colored pencils, you'll find something for your niece.

  14. A digital camera. There are some out there that are geared towards kids (look in the electronics department or go to Toys R Us), and they start at about $16 and go up from there. The pictures are downloaded to the computer via a USB chord and they come with software. My brother got one for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas and slept with it that night!

I couldn't find a link to the one she got, but here's kind of what I'm talking about

Other than that, the other posters had great suggestions with Littlest Pet Shop, Build a Bear, etc. It would probably be best to call her mom to see what she's into to, though. That way you can make sure your gift will be her favorite :)

  15. I bet High school musical, or Hannah montana items would do the trick.

i have a 6 year old niece that absolutly adores these items

  16. My daughter was 5 last christmas and out of everything I got her,  the $30 MP3 player was the best money spent,  i put a bunch of hannah montana, kids bible songs, wiggles, and some other stuff on it,  AWESOME for in the car,  makes long trip rides much easier.   The one I bought holds 512MB  (about 100-200 songs)  and she listens and sings them constantly.  Although make sure and buy her some soft headphones to go with it because the ones that come with them u stick IN your ear,  and she didnt like those much,  there less then 10 bucks usually.    here is a link to the one I bought her  (this one has more memory for same price since i bought mine last christmas)

  17. I would get her a gift card to Build A Bear Workshop, and then take her there yourself. Kids have a ball at that place! And she will always remember you took her to get her special stuffed animal. I say get the gift card first, because they put them in a miniature Build A Bear box, so she'll have something to open at her party. Plus, she'll have a set amount to spend, and you can help her budget what she can get for the money she has on her card. Have fun!
