I have to organise a hens party in the next 2 months. The bride to be doesn't want a stripper and there will be some oldies at the party. Does someone have a couple of ideas on what we could do and everyone can join in.

  1. The guests should come with crestcaps

  2. Teddy Bears Picnic.

Alice in Wonderland (and have people dress up)

Fairypicnic - have fairy lights play childish games and eat kiddie party food plus alcohol.

  3. hmm organise a party only for youngsters so that u can have fun...kind of cover the eyes n then find the bride

  4. Fancy dress, different games etc... You could give the bride to be questions about her boyfriend that you would have already asked him in advance. If she gets the question right you could give her prizes?

  5. whoah, not in my age group. haha! But, if you want a party where everyone can join in, well.... Uhm, how about a karaoke party with lots of drinks and blah blah blah. you know, the usual.. the blah blah points to LOTsa food.. MMMM.. now that's fun. Everyone can have a good time by then i suppose. What do you think? Please disregard the stripper. Dang, it doesn't count for anything at all... It'll be just distracting anyway. Good thing the bride thought that it's a no no..

  6. I had my girlfriends, cousin and mum and aunt at my hens party - we did belly dancing and it was a blast.  Find a local studio where they teach it!  It is very s**y but in a clean way and it is just so fun for any age!  (The teacher called it a 'wiggle and a giggle'!)  I highly recommend it.

  7. wot about an old skool party, pass the parcel, jelly an ice cream. blind mans buff etc

  8. some towns or citys do like medieval nights for hen partys, where you get dressed up in the most gorgus dresses ever, an have a massive banquet, also theres beer and spirits you can stay over an have sum fun, try to search on line for venues that do it, its a classy and exstremly fun alternative to a stripper party an luxury is perfect for every1 and its not expensive hope it helps good luck x

  9. I have got people from 18 to 65 coming to my hen party. First of all we are staying in a lovely hotel overnight in a town about half an hour away by train, when we get there we are going for lunch then hitting the shops (and maybe a glass of vino or 2 lol) then going back to the hotel and getting changed - some will be in fancy dress and some wont i have left it open as i think it unfair of me to say pay for your own hotel, pay for your meals, pay for this and that then oh and also pay for your own fancy dress..... so like i say some will be in fancy dress some wont. I have booked a table at a lovely Italian restaurant for the night and then from there we will go to a few bars, i am not into clubbing or anything like that. Also because we have booked rooms in the town at least if the older woman dont want to go to bars then they can go back to the hotel for drinks and they don't have to travel home on their own.

Hope you have a brill night.

  10. hey my auntie is getting married next year and were organising a spa and facial thing with massages spas facials and manicures and pedicures with no strippers! so i hope it all goes well and enjoy yourself

  11. my mum hired topless cocktail waiters with bow ties and g-strings for my sisters hens night and a stripper. hillarious, was actually really good fun.

  12. try a pamper me party, or have a fashion sylist come & give tips & idea's to the ladies, this goes down fab x*x
