winter comes, summer goes,

warmth leaves, then come freezing snows,

I stand outside in the chilling ice cold,

and I think, though I am not so old ,

about time fast passing, and how we dont know,

why we have come here, and when we shall go.

When I look into your eye’s I am left breathless.

For I see a prism of life.

I see in your eye’s the past.

The lost years of joy.

Days yearning to relive.

I see in your eye’s the present.

The comfort you give to me.

The feeling of bliss that washes over me when I look upon you.

The hope of happier days to come.

Knowing a life’s search is fulfilled.

Life is indeed a gift that the dear Lord has bestowed upon us

And sharing it with a loved one is definitely a plus

Walking together, hand in hand, and side-by-side

Choosing each fork in the road as groom and bride

There will be times when you might have to detour

But your strength  together will help you endure

And in the end, when you reach your reward

Your souls will float to meet God, entwined and upward.
