  1. just play your hardest

be super nice but not desperate nice

compliment the girls on your court

    be yourself around the coach

ik it might seem intimidating but play like he weren't there

    as for doubles its different,

you've got to cooperate a whole lot more with your teamate and have good communication and get to know eachother really well

  2. Just take into account that there is another player on the court.

And just get a coach if you're that desperate to get better quicker.

  3. what do u mean by different during doubles?

  4. doubles is all about placement, just relax thats really all you can do in tryouts... you cant improve any in that little of time, but try your best and you should be fine!

  5. try to find someone who plays doubles well.  it's totally different. usually old people are good at doubles. ask them for help.   get a buddy and practice together.      on your forehand, make sure you get your racket low and lift up to generate topspin to get the ball over the net and into the court.   for your serve, watch some videos of pete sampras. if you have the tennis channel there is a good tennis short drill on serves. look for it on google or just watch the tennis channel. i also recommend Oscar Wegner's videos. look them  up on google. he breaks everything down for you
