Any good books with a Parallel universe?

I was wondering if there are any good Teen books that are set in a parallel universe (like earth, but with a few changes). Or if anyone knows any books that are similar to Pendragon. Thanks.

The "His Dark Materials" series has some parallel universe stuff. But if I remember right, that only starts to come out around the second book.

Yes. The Phillip Pullman series that begins with The Golden Compass. It's absolutely captivating. The books in the series include The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, and The Amber Spyglass. It's definately worth a read.
