Any good cheap places to eat in central London?

We are going to London end of January and would like some ideas for places to eat out please

This is a great chinese restaurant on Wardour Street in China Town. It's cheap, the food is good but the service is outrageous!!

You might visit and find nothing out of the ordinary but the staff a little abrupt - you might visit and get to see the other guests at your table receive a comlete character assasination - it's highly eentertaining.

Anyway - it's easy to get to - inexpensive and serves nice food.

In the Soho area you will find lots of cheap restaurants to dine out if you like internatioanl food (Chinesse, Italian, Spanish, Indian, etc) Just have a look around and choose the one you prefer. I have tried La Porchetta and Tapas. But you have to go early to the last one because it gets full soon.

Holborn and Covent Garden are almost unaffordable.

Otherwise, in any Pizza Hut there is an offer these days to eat as much pizza as you want for just £4.99, or £5.99 with salad and dessert, but maybe this is not so exciting for a visitor.

You can find some good places to eat fish and chips in Covent Garden.

Jimmies next to Bar Italia on Frith Street and Old Compton Street in Soho, watch out for fixed price pre and post theatre dinners, Hogs Heads and Wetherspoons. Just watch out for specials.

At lunchtime look around the UCL Bloomsbury campus behind the British Museum and the LSE campus around Aldwych/Kingsway. There are lots of places catering to students.

In Angel, which is central london, there is an all you can eat indian restaurant that costs....wait for it....*£2.99* ALL YOU CAN EAT, ANY DAY ALL DAY.

BEAT THAT! No cheap places in London, indeed....

It's on Chapel Market, less than 5 mins from Angel tube

go to lastminute.com under restaurants. I always go there, when I need something special and cheep in central London. you can even chose your price range, and there is some pretty good deals! try Blue print cafe, where you can sit and look at the Thames

yes, I have seen that hotel it's very nice and cheapy you easily

manage yourself with your family.you don't have found any in this hotel.
