  1. "Planting a Rainbow" by Lois Ehlert is very colorful

    "Color Dance" by Ann Jonas

"A Rainbow of My Own" by Don Freeman (author of Corduroy)

    "Skyfire" by Frank Asch

"How Do Dinosaurs Learn Their Colors?" by Jane Yolen

  2. What Makes a Rainbow? is an adorable little book, however it is a board book, and it's recommended for infants and toddlers, so I'm not sure it's the best choice for a Kindergarten class.

All the Colors of the Rainbow by Allan Fowler is made for the 6-7 year old age range, but it definately lacks the "cute" factor.

A Rainbow Of My Own by Don Freeman is probably the cutest for this age group (3-6 year olds actually) it has beautiful illustrations as well.

The Magic School Bus Makes A Rainbow is a cute book if you want more educational than fun, all though since it's Magic School Bus, the cute and fun factors are there as well.

The popular series Maisy has a cute little book called Maisy's Rainbow Dream that is a fun one when studying rainbows.

There's an old book (from the mid 80's) called Purple Is Part Of A Rainbow by Carolyn Kowalczyk that is adorable for this age group.

  3. the rainbow fish

  4. What Makes a Rainbow?  Here is a link to it on Amazon...

    http://www.amazon.com/What-Makes-Rainbow...

  5. We read an illustrated version of "Somewhere over the Rainbow"

I hate rainbow fish....kids are pretty literal and that is a creepy ripping off your skin book

  6. maybe you should try a magic school bus book

  7. What makes a rainbow is a very cute book.
