I am an advanced piano player, and I wanted to find an impressive and fun classical piece to learn. Any suggestions?

  1. Maybe Piano Sonata K.545 1st Movement. Its very difficult.

Or Valse Op 64 no.1 "Petit Chien"

  2. It may not be classical per say, but I love The Entertainer on piano. I bet you already know it though! I love anything by Tchaikovsky but it's not really piano music.

  3. Might I suggest Sonata for Piano No. 11 in a Major Rondo Alla Turca: Allegretto by Mozart or Sonata for Piano No. 17 in B Major: Allegretto by the same? I don't know, they sound difficult enough when you listen to them.

Or the Sabre Dance by Aram Khachaturian (I thinkou could find a piano version of it).

  4. Try an Etude. Fun and impressive ones I can think of include op. 10 no. 4 and no 12 'Revolutionary' by Chopin.

Also, I love the third movement of the 'Moonlight' Sonata op 27 no 2.
