  1. You mean a volunteering experience where you could use your skills as a pharmacy technician? You should do some research, using the Internet, your phone book and a call to the United Way, and make a list of all of the health-related or animal-related nonprofits in your area (free clinics, Planned Parenthood, the Humane Society, etc.) and call them -- ask to speak with the volunteer manager and let him or her know that you are looking for volunteering activities where you might be able to apply your skills as a pharmacy technician, and list what those skills are -- the person you are talking to won't necessarily have any kind of medical background, so you will need to help them understand exactly what it is you are offering in terms of skills.
