  1. You will save a lot of money if you get a hotel off disney property.  You could get a cheap hotel on international drive and a rental car for less than the price of a hotel room on property.

Also don't feel like you have to eat fancy meals every day.  It might sound a little cheap but remember how much money you can save by eating at a fast food restaurant vs. somewhere fancy that the kids might not even like.

It's also worthwhile to get an Entertainment book for the Orlando area.  That'll get you a good discounted rate on your hotel and rental car and there are lots of buy one get one restaurant discounts.  The current book expires in November so make sure you get the book for 2009--usually $45 but well worth it in savings.  If you get a hotel with this book it'll pay for itself in one night.

  2. you can try and look on www.buycoolvacations.com

  3. Disney doesn't really allow dealers to sell discounted tickets, other than AAA and a couple of authorized dealers online who can only save a couple of bucks.  So that may be your problem - tickets cost what they cost regardless.

If you are looking super cheap, you can either stay on-site at the All Stars or Pop Century hotels, or you will need to stay off-site.  There's a ton of hotels on International Drive.  You might also like to visit the Florida and Orlando boards of tourism online and request info from them.
