Any good free websites for a 10 year old boy?

Question

We are new to the internet and my son would like to communicate with other people on the net for fun.

I would like him to use net purposefully, to improve his typing and comunication skills and hopefully learn stuff.

So far has just played lots of shooting games!

He is hyperactive and has some social dificulties but his english skills are good.

i think clubpenguin because you get to chat  with friends and do treasure hunts and find pins. i also recomend poptropica because you get to fing out problems and you have to fing evidens to help and what i mean evidence i mean cards that have items.
