Any good golf courses in Barbados?

Question

I am travelling to Barbados next month (Apr 19 - 26) and was wondering if anyone knew of any golf courses on the island.

If so, what are the prices and course conditions. I'm assuming that I'll be able to rent clubs but I was hoping that someone on here has played a few rounds on Barbados and can share their overall experience with me.

I was there several years ago and didn't find a course in the area I was staying, near Sam Lord's Castle. But let me tell you that it was so hot I don't think I would have ventured out on a golf course. The sand on the beach was so hot you couldn't walk bare foot. If you don't mind playing golf on the sun then I hope you find a decent course.
