  1. Yes diving works! Practice diving and whining. Before you know it, you will be as good as Crosby.

  2. Riding a bike up a hill on seventh gear.

Buy leg weights and run with them on.

    Lounges.

Running up a lot of steps.

    Running in sand.

    Jumping left to right fast.

    Leg stretches.

    Leg lifting machines at gyms.

Lift 20 pound weights on your arms for 2 min per arm.

    Push ups. (fifty a day)

Practice slapshots over and over again at your house.

Get excercise at the rink every week.

    Pull-ups.

Stand on a excersice rope and pull the ends up and down.

Roller blade up hills or for 2 miles.

Punch a boxing bag. (get mucle in your arms)

Watch what you eat cause you want to gain more muscle than fat.

    Drink mucle milk.

    Eat power bars.

    Get plenty of rest.

  3. typically with an ideal hockey body you don't want to bulk up too much, rather, you want to get as -strong- as possible.

this means having a pretty strict diet and doing strength training, low-mid reps, usually 3 sets of 8-12.  by the time you hit the end of your 3rd set you should be struggling hard to complete it.

I would focus on the lower body, and do squats, lunges, and leg press machine.

Of course you want to work on your upper body as well, but as a hockey player you should know the importance of having a strong lower half.
