Any good ideas for an outdoor wedding in Ohio?

We are in the early processes of planning my wedding and are looking for ideas for where to have the ceremony and reception. She wants an outdoor wedding in a nice setting, with an indoor reception (preferably at the same location as the ceremony). We live in Mansfield but are open to anywhere from Columbus area north to Lake Erie. We would like to have it at a waterfront setting if possible but its not a dealbreaker. Anyone got ideas?

We are planning a semiformal wedding, no more than 200 guests and would like to find a good value. The wedding will be sometime in august 2009

  1. Whetstone Park of Roses in Columbus is nice.  Don't know if it could handle 200 people though.

  2. I would suggest looking into Golf Resorts, they often offer outside ceremonies and inside reception deals. The prices are fair and they offer a lot of help.
