Any good ideas for halloween costume for a 9 month old.?

He is a pretty big boy. Me and my husband were talking about dressing up as something that all goes together, he suggested we all dress as pumpkins, but I wanted to do something more creative. Any suggestions for just the baby or for all of us? Thanks

a farm animal (duck ***fury one, piggy, ...etc) and you guys the farmers with overalls and all  (= babies are adorable in costumes especially the puffy ones.

A Baby Duck



Things You’ll Need:

Yellow fleece zip-up footie pajamas with hood.

White feather boa

White cottony balls

Two shaky eyeballs

Needle and thread or hot glue

Step1Buy fleecey yellow zip-up footie pajamas with a hood in your baby's size.

Step2Cut a piece of the feather boa and sew or hot glue it around the opening of the hood for duck feathers. Cut smaller pieces and attach the same way around the cuffs of the sleeves and the ankles of the feet.

Step3Cut out three-pronged duck feet out of the orange felt. Attach to the feet with hot glue or thread. Cut out an orange triangle and attach to front of hood for the beak.

Step4Sew or glue on white balls for eyes. Glue shaky eyeballs on top of white balls.

Another idea would be scarecrows for mom and dad, and dress baby as a crow (use duck idea, but make black and alter beak). I have bought potato bags (gunnie sacks) at grocery store for a costume before.

You could get those adorable little one-piece baby suits with the hood and everything ... my brother-in-law's sister dresses up her kid in those suits like a baby tiger suit or baby bear suit or baby winnie the pooh suit. It's really cute.

I've seen some really cute peapod costumes for babies advertised in catalogs and online. Maybe he could go as peas in a pod, and you and Hubby could go as 2 other vegetables.
