Any good ideas for my electronics and communications thesis?

It has to be a project concentrating more n communications. If possible, ideas on using gsm modules will be very much appreciated. Robotics and electronic projects will do too. Thanks!

Robots, electronics and GSM? The current technology is robotic security systems communicating with GSM modules. Perhaps the next step would be implanted medical devices with two way communications using the same technology. An implanted insulin pump that transmits data to a medical office that then makes a decision on current dosage and transmits that information back to the pump. A safer approach than a simple software algorithm contained within the pump.
