  1. well you should always get waterproof

before using the mascara always wipe it off so it less likely to be clumpy

start at the bottom but make sure you dont hit your eye

then move it side to side and while your going up on your lashes.

if see any clumps while it still wet use this tool

you can find it at any drugstore

use the sides with the pricks to get the clumps out

the other side is for your eyebrows to make them straight

    hope that helped

    :)

oh and if you get a a mascara that does not curl your eyelashes then get an eyelash curler and curl your lash before you put on mascara

  2. Take the brush, look up, and put it as close to the base of your lashes as you can get it.  Make sure it's meshed in the lashes, then wiggle slightly as you brush up.  Also, once you've thoroughly coated your lashes, use the brush and pull the outside corner lashes to the side, like towards your ear (versus brushing them up).

  3. begin with curling your lashes, once at the base, once half way up, and once right near the tip. this will give the maximum curl

then take a lengthening mascara and apply one coat while looking down being careful not to smudge below your eye. then a thin coat looking up, right from the base.

with a volumising mascara, apply as many coats as you like; looking up starting from the base and wriggling gently from side to side. after you're done apply an extra coat to the outer lashes pulling gently towards the top of your ear.

if you have any small clumps on the ends of your lashes gently run a mascara correcting cotton bud along the tip, or use your finger before the mascara has dried. you can also use the bud to gently remove any smudges on your eyelid withot disturbing your lashes

always remember to also apply mascara to your bottom lid's lashes to frame your eye better.

  4. I use Covergirl Lashblast Mascara It works very well...

If that doesn't work then try using the kinds with two layers...

Also, when I apply my mascara start at the base of the lashes and turn the brush as you go up.... make sure not to use the tip of the wand it usually has a huge glob of mascara on it and that will just clump your lashes

  5. You should use an eyelash curler before you put on mascara

so that your eyelashes aren't so low and near your eye

so it's easier to apply mascara.

Also yeah, waterproof mascara helps because

    no one likes runny mascara!

  6. Just make sure you get waterproof. I use the Maybelline Lash Stylist. But I think any waterproof is good. I've used a lot of different mascaras and they're all good to me.

  7. They say you should always curl your lashes first. Fortunately I naturally have lashes that already curl, but I still keep a couple curlers around. The best method is to heat it first, but I just found this SELF HEATING eyelash curler, it's so crazy I want it!

Other than that, when applying mascara start from the outer edge and work your way in. Wiggle the brush at the base of the lashes and then make a sweeping motion up. This first separates the lashes and makes the bases thick and then will apply smoothly all the way up. It makes lashes super huge and defined.

For the bottom lashes, many professionals actually use a different mascara with a smaller, more manageable brush for the small lower lid lashes. For example, you could use Maybelline Volum' Express Turbo Boost on the top with the big bushy brush first:

And then use Define-A-Lash on the bottom using the smaller brush which will make it easier to apply and get a more even application:

Otherwise if you will just be using one mascara for both the top and bottom, turn the brush vertical when applying to the bottom lashes. It gives a more precise application.

  8. well my best tip is to curl your eyelashes before you apply mascara. if you don't your lashes tend to get weaker and can later fall out.

  9. Okay, always use an eyelash curler beforehand. Hold the curler for a couple of seconds on your eyelashes and repeat until they have a nice curl :) use an eyelash brush to separate them.  Then, apply the mascara, tilt your head backwards so it does not leave black marks on your eyelids.  Do not apply a second coat after the first has dried, this will cause them to look clumpy! Wait for a few minutes for the mascara to dry, then very carefully use your eyelash curlers again (not heated) to get irresistible-looking eyes :)

  10. If you have a volumizing mascara, put the brush mostly in the centre of your top lashes, and make a zig-zag motion. This will evenly coat the lashes there, and make them look fuller. Then run the brush over the inner and outer lashes.

If you're using a lengthening mascara, try two coats ..

Don't put too much mascara on your bottom lashes, it looks cheap and makes your eyes rounder rather than more almond shaped. Your best bet is mascara on top lashes for a simple, classy look.

  11. well..I learned 4 tips in using mascara.

    1. heating the eyelash curler before curling your lashes

    2. using a corner eyelash curler for the small end lashes (be careful)

    3. putting a card on your eyelid when you apply mascara so it doesn't get on your eyelid

    4. curl before applying mascara
