Any good men's road or mountain bikes for under $300?

If you are looking at under $300, your best bet is used. Also, you might want to find out when the new models come in and then hopefully you can get an older model for a substantial discount. Good Luck!

go to your local bike shop around christmas...they will have their bikes at a lower price then and you can get a bit of a better deal...no matter what you buy at a bike shop will be much better than anything from a department store!
