  1. I am going to assume by the vagueness of your question that you are either a high school of eighth grader.

    Here is one for you.

    Scientific question;

    Does air have weight?

    Get a balance scale that is accurate to one tenth of a gram.

    Get a balloon and inflate it to the maximum possible.

    Weigh the balloon.

    Pop the balloon and weigh the popped balloon.

    The difference in weight from the fully inflated balloon and the popped one is the weight of the air.

    Further experimentation;

    What is the weght per volume.

    Find the volume of the balloon. If it is spherical enough measure the diameter and find the volume using the equation;

    Volume= 4/3 pi r^3

    Another way is to have a huge graduated cylinder. Fill it up enough so you can stick the balloon completely under water. Record the level of the water. Stick the balloon completely in to the water and record the level afterwards. The difference between the two is the volume of the balloon.

    If the balloon is cylindrical then find the volume with the formula;

    Volume= pi r^2 X height.

    Take the weight and divide it by the volume.

    This gives you the answer.
