Walking around burnside (pearl district) shopping and dining is a great way.

i met my hubby at moonstruck cafe down there. :)

Also anywhere around pioneer square. I guess anywhere with lots of people is bound to have some great men! :)

I love Portland, though I no longer live there, but it's hard to answer your question without a clue of your interests or your age or what part of town you're in.  I think the answers you got to this question 10 months ago are still pretty good.  There's a lot going on at the colleges, there's a lot going on downtown and in northwest Portland, I think there's a lot going on in east Portland, though I've never spent much time there.  And if you have passions, artistic, political, skiing, hiking, cycling, or other - you live in a great place to meet quality guys.

The short answer, to me, no matter where you live, is to meet people who are participating in activities you enjoy.  I'm a swimmer so, like someone who posted last time, I met a few women I went out with between swimming laps.  For you, it will probably be a different activity, but it really helps to have some interests or hobbies that get you out.  Or, dunno, Powell's if you like books; I could hang out there all day.

my internet friend lives in portland, he seems alright but he's kinda fat so.... that's prolly not a good hookup
