HEB Grocery pays very well, has excellent benefits and is an overall great place to work.

I worked in the Joe Muggs coffee shop inside of the Books-A-Million in Katy Mills for several months while going through college. I started out at over $7.00 a hour. (This was back in 2003) which was pretty good for when I was there.

I don't know what they are paying now. But its an easy job and can be pretty fun.

Waitressing pays well (the tips) and has flexible hours.  There are many new restaurants on Mason Road.  Good luck!
