i need a good recipe for a family get together any idea??? its like in three days HELP!! PLEASE!!

  1.   I  know that my grandmother used to make this at all of our family get togethers and now even after she's gone I make it for my friends and family and they love it. It doesn't even really have a name I just call it Cherry Pie Dessert  2-20 oz.cans of cherry pie filling

                                           1-20 oz. can of pineapple chunks (drained)

                                            about 2-3 fresh bananas sliced

        You mix all of these ingredients together and you have dessert!!

      **If you prepare this say the night before (to chill it) don't put the bananas in until ready to serve (to keep them from getting too brown)

  3. SUMMER'S HARVEST SALAD

    7 ounces macaroni, * see note

    1 cup fresh broccoli, flowerets

    6 ounces shrimp, cooked

    1 small tomato, chopped

    1 cup spinach leaves, thinly sliced

    1/3 cup red onion, sliced

    1/2 cup Italian salad dressing

    2 teaspoons salad supreme seasoning

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    1 dash cayenne pepper

    1 boiled egg, grated

    Prepare macaroni according to package directions, add broccoli during last two minutes of cooking time; drain. Combine macaroni and broccoli, shrimp, tomato, spinach and red onion. Blend together Italian dressing, salad supreme seasoning, salt and cayenne pepper. Toss dressing with salad mixture. Garnish with egg and sprinkle with salad supreme. Serve immediately or cover and chill. Refrigerate leftovers. 6 to 8 servings.

    Summer Vegetable Ratatouille

    2 onion, sliced into thin rings

    3 cloves garlic, minced

    1 medium eggplant, cubed

    2 zucchini, cubed

    2 medium yellow squash, cubed

    2 green bell peppers, seeded and cubed

    1 yellow bell pepper, diced

    1 chopped red bell pepper

    4 roma (plum) tomatoes, chopped

    1/2 cup olive oil

    1 bay leaf

    2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

    4 sprigs fresh thyme

    salt and pepper to taste

    DIRECTIONS

    Heat 1 1/2 tablespoon of the oil in a large pot over medium-low heat. Add the onions and garlic and cook until soft.

    In a large skillet, heat 1 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil and saute the zucchini in batches until slightly browned on all sides. Remove the zucchini and place in the pot with the onions and garlic.

    Saute all the remaining vegetables one batch at a time, adding 1 1/2 tablespoon olive oil to the skillet each time you add a new set of vegetables. Once each batch has been sauteed add them to the large pot as was done in step 2.

    Season with salt and pepper. Add the bay leaf and thyme and cover the pot. Cook over medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes.

    Add the chopped tomatoes and parsley to the large pot, cook another 10-15 minutes. Stir occasionally.

    Remove the bay leaf and adjust seasoning.

Put  4 boneless chicken b*****s in a skillet add one cup of your favorite salsa and cover the skillet cook it on low for 30 minutes then take off the lid and let it cook for 5 more minutes put it on a plate put a slice of velveeta cheese on top and a spoonfull of the salsa from the skillet. Serve it with a baked potato or french fries and a tossed salad.

    make a delicious chicken fillet sandwich!!

    on a burger bun, spread mayo and butter,

    panfry a fillet of chicken

    make a delicious dressing with mayo, plain yoghurt, honey mustard, and chopped gerkins.

    put some lettuce on the bun, then the chicken, then some avocadoes.

    dinner:

    roast chicken, or fry some nice pieces of steak.

    on the side put in..:

    button mushrooms cooked in the same pan as the steak (in the steak juices)

    simple salad,

    corn (put in a chunk of butter in a hot saucepan, melt. put in some frozen corn. pour milk in it so you JUST cover the tops of the corn. reduce. stir in mayo before serving)

    mashed potatoes..(mash some potatoes, put in mashed boiled eggs, butter, mayo, salt, sugar and pepper. stir)

    have fun with your family!!

  6. PORK CHOP CASSEROLE

    Place 3 lean pork chops in casserole; sprinkle over them 4 tablespoons raw rice, 1/2 sliced onion, salt and pepper as desired. Place 3 more lean chops over this; and sprinkle with another half an onion, salt and pepper and 1 finely chopped green pepper. Pour 1 large can stewed tomatoes over all.

    Bake 1 1/2 hour at 350 degrees F. If pork chops are not very learn, you may want to brown them lightly in a skillet first and drain off the excess fat before placing in casserole.

  7. in a pot put some oil

    cut up a bag of bacon in to little squares

    throw in some chopped onions

    mix and let bacon cook

    put in a can of baked beans

    throw in a bag of hot dogs (cut into 5 pieces)

    If you put 2 bags of hot dogs then put 2 cans of baked beans

    Mix in with some brown sugar and then simmer.
