Any good restaurants in Vevey, Switzerland?

We can't find any decent restaurants, so I'm having to cook every night!

Have you tried the restaurant in La Placette?  It is very good, but I don't think it is open at night.

i had 2 recommendations from the tourist office when i was there... Le Narot and l'Avenir, both of which they assured me was authentic local places.  i got to eat at neither, because they were closed on the nights i was there; you might have better luck.  i ate at the Hostellerie de Geneve on the marketplace, which i thought wasn't bad at all.
