Any good science magazine?

I am spending most of my time programming but I 've always tried to keep up-to-date with the latest science news.

I checked few magazines such as Focus, and Newscientist but they are full of ads and little content

Any good science magazines you know?

Cheers

  1. Fortean Times m8!..all you need 2 kno bout crop circles, UFOS and the end of the world as predicted in the Mayan Calendar. Don't waste ur time an money on junk reviews like 'Nature' etc..full o big obscure words and incomprehensible math stuff! Nearly as good as Von Danikken's books in the '70's!

Also try the 'AnswersinGenesis' website..tells you all you need to know about the origins of life, the universe..everything!

Saves a lotta time on that critical analysis thinking rubbish!

  2. The best magazine is Nature (technical).

    http://www.nature.com/index.html

Science is also a good magazine.

    see:  http://www.sciencemag.org/

You can take a quick look at Scientific American: it used to be excellent but now it is too short and simple and not enough "hard" science.

  3. I get Science every week.  It is good, but it does require a good background in science.  Nature is the same.  Scientific American is a good overview, but it is not a peer-reviewed journal.
