  1. My mom says when she was pregnant with me, She would put a pillow under her chest and one under her legs and lay on her stomach. That way, she was comfortable and she didn't feel like she was squishing me.

  2. Lay on your side (left is better for blood flow to the baby) and use lots of pillows. If you are uncomfortable now, you will be so uncomfortable later.

  3. i wanted to cut a hole in the mattress for my tummy cause i like sleeping on my tummy but my husband didnt think it was such a good idea

  4. Yes!  Go to Wal Mart and get a body pillow.  Look for one that is not too squishy because you want to use it to lay on your left side with and put between your knees.  Its is very comfortable!

  5. I lay on my left side....or at least try to most of the time. I put a pillow under one side of my belly and one between my legs. Try that. Just try a lot of different pillows and hopefully you will find something comfortable.

  6. Try laying on your left side with a pillow between your knees.

  7. i think pl suggest to get loadsa pillows and place one betwween your knees and one behind your back and under you belly and sleep i=on your side this should support you all round and take any pressure off your body and should make you comfortable.

  8. i use a wedge and a body pillow that wraps around my body... it helps a lot, until you're where i am at 35 weeks and then nothing helps.

  9. your left side is best for you and the baby...try putting a pillow behind your back and in between your legs....they do sell pregnancy pillows out there i think for $30-$40.

  10. I just started having sleep issues at 20 weeks! Argh. What usually helps is stacking 3 pillows in a upright position so your kinda leaning upwards. My dr said thats ok even if its on my back because its not  flat on my back. that also helps me to breathe better

  11. here is what I did..body pillow under my tummy and between my legs and one tucked under my back. Then with my 3rd pregnancy I found these awesome pillows!!

a bit pricy but worth it!!!!!

  12. I am at about the same place as you in my pregnancy and I bought a body pillow at Wal-Mart ($10). I lay on my left side and throw my leg over the pillow and fall asleep that way. I also prop up pillows behind me so that I don't roll over on my back while I'm sleeping. Best of luck to you!

  13. Oh that is hard, and it'll get worse:(  Try lying on your side with a pillow between your legs/knees until your leg on top is straight with the rest of your body.  Also, try "hugging" a pillow. Body pillows and body pillows made for pregnancy are good too.

  14. I sleep on my side most of the time!
