  1. Here is a website for surfing tips:

    http://surfing.about.com/od/surfinstruct...

You scroll down and you'll see 'How to Paddle your surfboard'

, 'How to duck dive', 'How to catch a wave', and more.

I already checked the site out for you and it gives plenty of info.

    :) good luck

easy... go to the beach. ask where locals are. ask them for tips.

  3. hobgoods.com

  4. In a Rip Tide, never try to swim straight back to shore because that can have you taken way out to sea. Try to swim along the beach, try to swim with it sort of.

Also, try and stay away from experienced surfers we get pissed off if you get in our way.

Make sure you know how to Duck Dive, and Turtle Roll.

and try to practice on whit wash.

  5. You can watch the Learn to Surf podcast series at:

    http://www.podsurf.tv

I've watched it and it's about as much instruction as you'd get in a 1 hour surf lesson. You should ultimately go through a local surf shop for lessons though because there are things like localism.

The shop can introduce you into the community and it shows people that you aren't some idiot just rushing into the water. Just like driving a car, there are rules you need to follow. They are profiled here:

  6. go to surfing lessons.com try that that might work
