Any good tips for trading in gold ?

I want to go into gold and if anyone can share any good program or tips would be appreciated.

Read the book The Gold Vault.  Very comprehensive guide.  Covers a lot of tips on how to investment and profit.

My suggestion is that if you invest in commodities, you should be able to lose everything you invest, i.e. only invest money you don't need.

A better idea is to invest in precious metal index funds.

A great site for guidance on trading gold futures is:

They give great outlooks on the markets.

- buy on strength, sell on weakness

- trade what you see, not what you think

- always keep position small

- cut your losses and let your winners run

You have probably heard of these, but they work. It doesn't really matter which indicators you use, or how you time your entry. I work with traders who use only trendlines and make a lot of money.

Remember, the goal of a good trader is not to make money, but to trade well (Alexander Elder, from his book Trading for a Living).
